DAY 1

Trust and Psychological Safety

  • Welcome and introduction
  • Pre-test
  • Defining the stages of team development and dysfunction
  • Experiential activities designed to build personal knowledge and vulnerability
  • Establishing the concept of Psychological Safety and why it is critical
  • Developing and committing to shared team norms and values

 

DAY 2

Mastering Productive Conflict

  • Identifying personal conflict styles (assessment and discussion)
  • The difference between task conflict (good) and relationship conflict (bad)
  • Techniques for initiating and facilitating healthy debate
  • Activity: Discussing a tough, polarizing business issue with new conflict norms

 

DAY 3

Commitment and Accountability

  • Decision-making models: Consensus, consultation, and clarity after debate
  • Achieving true Commitment even when individuals disagree
  • Defining and driving Collective Accountability
  • Role clarity and process mapping to eliminate ownership ambiguity

 

DAY 4

Focus on Collective Results

  • Reviewing the team’s key purpose and highest priority goals
  • Identifying "Team Metrics" that drive collective success (not just individual success)
  • Overcoming individual status or ego to prioritize team results
  • Structured problem-solving simulation as a cohesive team

 

DAY 5

Action Planning and Sustainability

  • Developing the final Team Action Plan for 90-day follow-up
  • Defining the leader's role in maintaining the new team standard
  • Commitment to continuous improvement (team retrospective structure)
  • Post-test
  • Certificate ceremony
