The GROW Model and Coaching Structure

  • Deep dive into the Goal setting phase: Establishing clarity and commitment
  • Exploring the Reality phase: Diagnosis and self-assessment techniques
  • The power of inquiry: Formulating powerful, insightful questions
  • Practicing the initial stages of a structured coaching conversation

 

DAY 3

Generating Options and Establishing Will

  • Brainstorming the Options phase: Facilitating creative problem-solving
  • Moving to Will/Way Forward: Creating an accountability and action plan
  • Coaching for performance: Addressing specific skill gaps
  • Coaching for development: Focusing on long-term career growth

 

DAY 4

Mentoring and Feedback Mastery

  • Structuring formal and informal mentoring relationships
  • The mentor's role: Sharing wisdom, network, and institutional knowledge
  • Mastering the art of effective, constructive feedback delivery
  • The behavioral feedback model: Situation-Behavior-Impact-Next Steps
